Secretary Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Department Punjab, Ms. Saira Omar, chaired important review meetings regarding ongoing development schemes in Lahore, Gujranwala, and Faisalabad, where she was briefed on project progress, procurement matters, and utilization of allocated funds. She directed officials to ensure timely completion of projects through effective use of resources and daily monitoring. In a separate meeting, she reviewed the progress of the Himmat Card program for students of the Special Education Department and instructed the DG Social Welfare, Bank of Punjab, and Punjab Information Technology Board to expedite necessary procedures to ensure the prompt issuance of Himmat Cards and timely financial assistance to deserving students.
