A meeting regarding the integration and expansion of Children Homes was held under the chairpersonship of Secretary Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Department Punjab, Ms. Saira Omar. During the meeting, discussions were held on streamlining the registration process, developing a comprehensive legal framework for orphaned, destitute, and vulnerable children, and linking Children Homes with educational and technical institutions to ensure better opportunities for their future. The meeting also reviewed the situation of child labour and forced labour, ongoing government initiatives, and the collaborative role of the Child Protection Bureau and the Social Welfare Department in the rehabilitation of affected children. On this occasion, the commitment to strengthening the protection, education, and rehabilitation of children was reaffirmed.
