Sajid Zafar Dall
Director General
Sajid Zafar Dall is the current Director General of Directorate General of Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal, Punjab. He is an Officer of Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS). He did his MS in Public Policy specialising in Development Policy from Australian National University, Crawford School of Public Policy, Australia. He is also L.L.B. from University of the Punjab. He has versatile professional experience and has served as Additional Secretary, Chief Minister's Office, Punjab; District Coordination Officer, Rawalpindi  District, Punjab; District Coordination Officer, Bahawalpur District, Punjab; Personal Staff Officer to Chief Minister, Punjab; Director, Provincial Disaster Management Authority, Punjab; Executive District Officer (Revenue), Sheikhupura District, Punjab; Deputy Secretary (Staff) / Staff  Officer to Chief Secretary, Punjab; Deputy District Officer (Revenue) / Town Municipal Officer, Murree Town, District Rawalpindi, Punjab; Deputy Secretary Health Department, Punjab; Deputy District Officer (Revenue) / Special Magistrate, Sukkur City & New Sukkur, Sindh; Staff Officer to Federal Minister of State for Ministry of Food, Agriculture, & Livestock, Islamabad, Pakistan; and  Deputy District Officer (Revenue), Under Training District Thatta, Sindh.

Rukhshanda Shafiq
Director (Administration)

Mrs. Rukhshanda Shafiq is serving as Director (Administration) in Directorate General of Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal, Punjab. She did her master in Sociology from Punjab University Lahore in 1982. Then she started her career as Social Welfare Officer in Social Welfare Department in 1984. During service she worked in different institutions/Projects of Social Welfare Department. Institutions like Hostel for working Women, Medical Projects, Jail Projects, Dar-ul-Aman, District Industrial Home etc. In 2008, she was promoted in BS-18 as Deputy Director. Since 2012 To 2015 she was working as Deputy Director (Women Development) in Directorate General of Social Welfare& Bait-ul-Maal Punjab. In February 2016, she has been promoted in BS-19 and posted as Director Administrator in Directorate General of Social Welfare& Bait-ul-Maal Punjab.




Muhammad Suleman
Director (P & E)

Muhammad Suleman is serving as Director (Planning & Evaluation) in Directorate General of Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal, Punjab. He has got master’s degree in Statistics from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan and joined Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Department as Statistical Officer (BS-17) in April 1996. He served as Statistical Officer till 2002 and then promoted as Deputy Director (Research) (BS-18). In 2011, he was promoted as Director (BS-19).

He has vast experience in the field of planning, monitoring and evaluation. He has expertise in developing gender sensitive policies and programmes. During his service period, he has visited Thailand (Hua Hin, Bangkok), Jordan (Amman), France (Paris), Italy (Turin, Venis), Bangladesh (Dhaka & Mirpur) and Egypt (Cario) in connection with the dispensation of official assignment and different trainings in the field of Gender & Development.


Director (Programmes)

Zaib-un-Nisa is serving as Director (Programmes) in Directorate General, Social Welfare & Bait ul Maal, Punjab, Lahore.  She did Masters and M.Phil in Social Work from Punjab University Lahore. She joined the Department of Social Welfare in October, 2002 as Social Welfare Officer (BS-17). Later on, she selected as Assistant Director Cadre Post in 2006, then she promoted in BS-19 in 2016.

During service, she also worked as provincial Project Coordinator in “Gender Equality Project (GEP)” funded by DFID and technically managed by British Council.

She also has experience of working as master trainer with UNDP assisted Project & “Gender mainstreaming in P&D Division and Departments” for the Government Officers involved in policy & Planning process as well as with “German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) and “Medicine Du Monde (MDM) with special reference to women protection issues for the victims of violence residing in Dar-ul- Amans.
