Directorate of Social Welfare Department celebrated World Day of Special Persons at Darbar Hall Governor House Lahore, in collaboration with Maskan and WHO, Ms. Samina Alvi, First Lady of Pakistan, participated as a special guest. Director General Social Welfare Muddassir Riaz Malik highlighted the Social Welfare initiatives for Special persons. Mr. Yawar Abbas Bukhari, Minister for Social Welfare, informed about the steps taken by the Government of Punjab for the disabled, he emphasized that every individual in the society should play their role for the betterment of the disabled.
