Qasar-e-Behbood was established during the year 1988-89 in Lahore. It was designed to be an ideal women development center which aims to empower the women by training them in different modern marketable skills so that they may earn for themselves which will further elevate their social role & status. The center is providing a variety of standardized services in a number of ways. At present more than 20 skills are being taught in the center.
Eligibility Criteria
Willing women from all areas without any age limit and qualification are eligible for training as well as to perform center/ order work. Only computer training or English language requires relevant qualification.
Admission Procedure
There are no hard and fast rules for admission. The applicant can get admission on prescribed form along with relevant documents like CNIC, photograph etc.

Center / Order Work
Trained workers are provided with center and order work and wages are paid to them for the same.
Exhibition
Qasar-e-Behbood also arranges exhibitions to sale center work which will also provide opportunity to other women to sell their products.
Hostel
Hostel is available for the girls and women from far flung areas who get admission in any course of the institution.
