Background
- The Government of the Punjab took initiative for establishment of Pannah Gahs in year 2017.
- Initially 5 signature Pannah Gahs were constructed in Lahore and later on 8 new Pannah Gahs established, which are located at LOS Icchra, Gajumata, Kot Khawaja Saeed Hospital, Band Road , Johar Town ,Shahdara ,Bibi Pak daman Ali complex and Jinnah Hospital Lahore.
- Afterwards three more Pannah Gahs established, one in each Multan, Bahawalpur and TunsaSahrif.
- At remaining Divisions, Pannah Gahs will be established in phase-wise manner
- Total 16 Pannah Gahs in Punjab, run by Social Welfare department, are fully operational. On average about 700 people stay daily in these Pannah Gahs

Approximately 3.7 Million People facilitated from November 2018 to April 2024 with accommodation, Breakfast, and Dinner.
